Abstract

The aim of this paper is to apply and establish the advantages of using fuzzy classification systems in evaluating the quality of a fuzzy partition. The system is applied in a methodological proposal for the analysis of the business financial solvency in a specific sector. The sectorial analysis of the solvency is considered as an unsupervised fuzzy classification problem and it is sought through the application of the system, to evaluate both the classification and the quality of the established partition, which allows determine whether modify, to eliminate or to add classes to the partition of the sample space.
