XXI SIGEF Congress - "Digital Era and fuzzy applications in Management and Economy"

Universidad Autónoma de Nuevo León, (México), July 7-9th 2021

The International Association for Fuzzy-Set Management and Economy (SIGEF) is pleased to announce the organization of the XXI Congress, to take place in Monterrey, Nuevo León, Mexico. This Congress is organized by the Universidad Autónoma de Nuevo León (UANL), through the School of Accounting and Business Management (FACPYA), and SIGEF Economy (SIGEF).

SIGEF and the Congress offer a forum where academics, professionals and practitioners, working in the field of economics, finance, management and organization, can exchange ideas and experiences on the advancement of research, methods, techniques, application and projects based on fuzzy logic, neural systems, genetic algorithms, and systems, uncertainty theory, complexity theory and soft computing.

The main purpose of the Congress is to stimulate scientific exchanges, promote international cooperation between academic community and companies, and disseminate results of international research.

IMPORTANT NOTE:

Please note that July is very high season and that many International events are planned during that month. So please reserve your hotel as soon as possible.

The conference venue will be the Polytechnic School located in P.le V. Tecchio, 80 in the Fuorigrotta district.

For convenient access to the conference we recommend accommodation in Fuorigrotta.

If you wish to stay in Naples city center we advise you to reserve hotels close to stations of metro line L2 and Cumana train, in particular in the neighborhood of Piazza Amedeo (in the elegant CHIAIA district) or piazza Dante (in the historical center).

The social dinner will take place at the “Club nautico della vela

in Borgo Marinari, in front of the sea and very close to Castel dell’Ovo. The venue of social dinner is on average 10 minutes walking distance from the Hotels of CHIAIA district and 5 minutes walking distance from the Hotels located in front of the sea.

Registration

New conference fees in virtual mode

The payment system for the SIGEF 2021 will be opened soon.

The conference fee is the following:

Early payment ( up to June 30, 2021. Mexico City time zone): SIGEF MEMBER: 100€ (120 USD / $ 2,470 Mexican pesos) NON-SIGEF MEMBER: 200€ (240 USD / $4,940 Mexican pesos)

Late registration (up to July 5, 2021. Mexico City time zone): SIGEF MEMBER: 150€ (180USD / $3,700 Mexican pesos) NON-SIGEF MEMBER: 250€ (300 USD / $6,170 Mexican pesos

It should be pointed out that at least half of authors of each paper must register and pay the conference fee. The submission final paper must accompany conference registration fee. At least one author of each paper must attend the conference if the submission is approved.

General Information

The Autonomous University of Nuevo León (UANL) is the third largest university in Mexico and the most important public institution of higher education with the largest number of academic programs in the northeast of the country

Currently, the UANL has more than 206,000 students and around 7,000 teachers. It has a presence throughout the State; Its headquarters include six university campuses: University City, Health Sciences, Mederos, Agricultural Sciences, Sabinas Hidalgo and Linares; In addition, the Cadereyta campus is being built in the eastern part of the State.

The UANL has 43 research centers, where hundreds of researchers work (951 recognized in the National System of Researchers).

The Autonomous University of Nuevo León (UANL) was officially founded in 1933, although its origins are more remote, since as of this year there were already its Jurisprudence, Medicine and Pharmacy schools, the Escuela Normal and Colegio Civil. It would be the representatives of these institutions who would submit to the Honorable Congress of the state of Nuevo León the foundation of a shaped university, an event that would finally occur on September 25th, 1933, the date on which it began its activities with an enrollment of 1,864 students and 218 teachers.

To train competent, competitive, innovative, and socially responsible high school graduates, technicians and professionals, with full awareness of the regional, national and world environment, with principles and values, committed to sustainable, scientific, technological and cultural development. The UANL´s School of Business

The UANL´s School of Business was founded on October 13, 1952, by a group of prominent professionals in Public Accounting. Its First Director was P.A. Ramón Cárdenas Coronado. The opening ceremony was held in the Aula Magna of the UANL: The President of the Republic was C. Adolfo Ruiz Cortines, Governor of the State Dr. Ignacio Morones Prieto, and Rector of the University Lic. Raúl Rangel Frias.


Our school offers four bachelor's degrees: Public Accountant, bachelor’s in business management, Bachelor’s in information technologies and Bachelor in International Business..

At the postgraduate level, he has two doctorates: in Accounting and in Philosophy with a specialty in Administration; and eleven master's degrees, which are: the Master of International Administration (in agreement with City University of Seattle); the Master in Business Innovation and Entrepreneurship and Master in International Business Management and Management, among others.

It currently has more than 19 thousand students, who are supported by 500 teachers, and has a physical presence with four units in the state such as: Ciudad Universitaria, Sabinas, Linares and Cadereyta.

Train professionals in the field of business, who contribute to the socio-economic development of the region and the country through quality educational programs that provide the students with the critical skills to function in global settings, as well as strengthening research aimed at generating knowledge in our disciplines, and cultivating in the community the innovative, ethical and socially responsible spirit.

To be in 2020 the business school with the greatest influence in the region due to the quality of its educational programs, with national and international recognition and accreditation, through research and innovation in the areas of knowledge that ensure that our graduates are promoters of the development of the environment in which they work.
