Abstract
Organizations, in their quest to fully satisfy the needs of the population and companies throughout different sectors that form the economy of a nation require a sufficient and consistent supply of electricity. This allows the providing systems to increase their business competitiveness and satisfaction of the population. In this paper a study is presented to determine the planning and scheduling of electrical energy production using the Land and Doig algorithm in certainty environments. In addition, the planning and scheduling of electricity generation in plants producing this type of energy necessary for the operation of any production system is analyzed in uncertainty conditions through the use of fuzzy logic, thus providing optimal, efficient and effective results.
